I'm Not The Brightest Bulb on the Tree

I had big plans to work on 12 in 2012 race schedule today... And oh boy did I.

I just signed up for the Covenant Health Knoxville Half Marathon on April 1st...

Not realizing I'm already registered for Run The Bluegrass on March 31st.

I haven't decided if this is really awesome or really horrible. What do you think? Do it or sell a bib?

  1. I saw do it as long as you can accept that you may not be running your "a" game at both. I like doing back to backs but I also will go in with the plan to walk as much as needed and so simply enjoy the course. Then you can sign up for Half Fanatics!

  2. I agree with Julie! Just do it! Although from what I have been told they both have some rollers but you are used to hills right? :-)

  5. Geez and I was concerned about running a 10K two weeks before the half I want to do! LOL Go for it. Just don't go all out and kill yourself! Good luck!

  7. Do it!!! It's totally possible. Choose one to race hard and one to enjoy. The goal is to complete 12, on race and PR in each one. Right? You are awesome!

  8. I think you could use one as a fun run and the other as a faster run.

  10. Go for it, think of it as a marathon over 2 days, make the first your goal race and the 2nd fun run. Either way have fun at both.
