WOW!!! One month down. I really feel like I should give a HUGE thank you to Amanda at Run To The Finish for hosting this amazing challenge! I have consistently been working out 5-6 days a week!
This week I really tried to step it up with my workouts. I knew I'd be traveling toward the end of the week and next week I'll be in Colorado skiing and I have no idea if I'll be able to get any points other than that (please let there be a gym or somewhere I can go run!!!).
I tried to pay more attention to my fruits and veggies. There is no reason for me to not get those gimme points! I also had to stretch a lot and spend some QT with the torture device that is the foam roller. My muscles have been super tight, I guess where I started lifting weights.
Saturday: REST DAY, F&V point (1 point)
Sunday: 7 mile run, 1 mile walk, 20 minutes stretch and foam roll, F&V point (10 points)
Monday AM: 30 minutes stair climber, 15 minutes elliptical (4 points)
Monday PM: 60 minutes lifting lower body and back, abs and stretching, F & V point (4 points)
Tuesday AM: 3 mile run/walk (3 points)
Tuesday PM: 40 minutes yoga/stretching/foam rolling (2 points)
Wednesday AM: 60 minutes lifting upper body/abs (3 points)
Wednesday PM: 20 minutes stretch and foam roll (1 point)
Thursday: 30 minutes elliptical, 40 minutes stairs (6 points)
Friday: 7 mile run/walk, 20 minutes stretch, 1 mile walking around town, F & V point (10 points)
Total: 44 points
How is HBBC going for you?
Not to be a turd (well maybe just a little) but do you feel like a lot of people are misrepresenting their points?
HAPPY FRIDAY!

I just wish people would lay out their points...show me how you are getting those points! How else are we supposed to know you really are getting those points?
ReplyDeleteYou are doing awesome with HBBC. Keep up the work and we will meet our goal ;)
The Fruits and Veggies is my must every day. It's eating to get a point and that's awesome!
There really is no way to monitor people's honesty in this otherwise phenomenal bootie buster, which is of course too bad. I haven't been updating via blogger posts; but then again all I have been doing is eating my way to points LOL!! That being said there have been a few days here and there where I do put in quality work outs in addition to eating my greens etc. My updates would be boring as they have been repetitious, but maybe that will change now that I'm in Seattle w/my Dad and he + friends walk everyday:)
ReplyDeleteNicely done Courtney! I am still sick and can't wait to feel better so I can get back to the gym! I have felt like a complete lazy bum laying around and sleeping all the time trying to kick this crap!
ReplyDeleteYou rocked it girl! I was on pair for a large number this week but had to miss my Saturday stuff which took away 10 points..oh well!
ReplyDeleteyes I do think so numbers are padded because they numbers are just too insane!
Great week! I guess I haven't thought much about the misrepresented points.
ReplyDeleteHBBC is going great so far. This week will be my most challenging time wise. House guests start arriving! The bonus is only 3 more days of work before winter break!
Have a great week Courtney!
Hi Courtney
ReplyDeleteThought you might like to see this :)
[Fitness, Health and Happiness]
And I got your card and iTunes GC too. Thanks!
I'll be the first to admit that I've been terrible about updating my points on the blog but I am keeping a separate calendar with my workouts so I can keep HBBC and 30 for 60 information straight. If I do 2.5 miles I round down to 2 and if I eat nothing but a bunch of fruit and one veggie I'm not giving myself a point for that.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion if you go into HBBC with the mentality of "beating people" you aren't in it for the right reason to begin with.
Great job this week Courtney! I need to follow your lead and spend more time doing weights.
Wow! You're killin' it girl! Nice work. The holidays are making it SO hard to fit in workouts, but I'm doing it...thanks to the half training schedule I'm following. Otherwise, I'm sure I'd have thrown in the towel by now.
