Strawberry Plains Half Marathon In Pictures and my Playlist

Not sure why I didn't post these with my race recap, but oh well. Here you go:
A little snow and a little hill.

My face is frozen!

In the car afterwards... nice hair!

MEDAL!

I had to drive 2 hours home from the race... Even with the heat on full blast I was FREEZING!!! Had to rock the hoodie the whole way.

Traffic was at a standstill because an 18 wheeler had broken down. I just wanted to get home and shower!!!!!
Just a couple of new ones but I really liked this playlist. Lots of variety and it kept me going! If you ever want to check out any of my playlists, I've made a new tab (it's quite originally called PLAYLISTS) and you can find it here.

  1. I know that feeling - when you're so cold after a run/race and you just need to warm up!

  2. It takes me forever to warm up after a run in the cold! This race was on my 12 in 2012 list but I just couldn't make it work. Too much travel and not enough time. Maybe next year!

We have a lot of the same running songs.

  3. Cool! I always want to know what is on other people's playlists so I can get some new ideas. Don't you hate it when you can't warm up after a race!

  5. HEY!!! Congrats on the 1/2 PR. Those conditions looked pretty bad and tough to run in. It's always hard for me after the race is over and my body temp takes a dive! I would have wore that hoodie the entire way home as well!! Cute medal!

    1. they actually didn't :( i started without them and then put them in when we were in the middle of no where. as we were headed back in a girl told me that if they saw us with them in they wouldn't give us our medals. at that point i took them back out.

    2. That's good to know no one was rude about it. I wonder if I can get away with wearing mine since they are bluetooth if it's cold enough. ..
